Manufacturing Execution Systems und Operational Business Intelligence

چکیده
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) und Operational Business Intelligence (OpBI) analysieren und koordinieren betriebliche Abläufe in unterschiedlichen Segmenten der Wertschöpfungskette eines Unternehmens. Dies birgt die Gefahr, dass eine Verinselung der Infrastruktur innerhalb der operativen Entscheidungsunterstützung erfolgt. Daher ist das Ziel der Forschung, inwieweit eine gemeinsame Betrachtung von OpBI und MES ein Potenzial im Kontext einer unternehmensweiten Steuerung und Analyse von operativen Prozessen birgt, sodass Unternehmen sich flexibel an sich wandelnde Rahmenbedingungen anpassen können. In diesem Beitrag werden die Forschungsidee und ein methodisches Raster zur Zusammenführung von MES und OpBI in einer operativen Integrationsplattform skizziert. Erste Arbeitsergebnisse einer literaturbasierten Begriffsklassifikation motivieren eine intensivere Auseinandersetzung des Forschungsansatzes, um Erkenntnisse für eine prozessorientierte, BI-gestützte Entscheidungsunterstützung zu gewinnen.
